Important information regarding Fibre Services

Dear Fibre Customers

OPENSERVE:

This notification serve to confirm that all OpenServe clients with HOME, PREMIUM and PREMIUM PLUS FIBRE SERVICES have now successfully been switch over to uncapped Fibre which is uncapped, unshaped and unthrottled with no thresholds or limitations. With the recent OpenServe line speed upgrades, we automatically moved everyone over to our more cost effective uncapped services.

So, not only will you save on your connection but your line speeds are upgraded and you will get a better overall Fibre experience - offering Ultra Fast undiluted Fibre service as it is meant to be.

Price will be adjusted and communicated with each individual client, but as for May, pricing will stay the same and in June will be adjusted to the higher speed spectrum and lower monthly fees.

FROGFOOT:

Some of the FrogFoot services are discontinued due to several issues with the lines and upgraded to the following packages:
Discontinued packages: 10/10Mbps, 20/2Mbps, 20/20Mbps and replaced with 30/30Mbps at the same price.

Upgraded packages:

50/50Mbps is upgraded to 100/100Mbps: No price change

100/100Mbps is upgraded to 200/200Mbps: No price change

200/200Mbps up to 1TB/1TB is unchanged with no price changes. This prices are reviewed for cheaper options.

The upgrade will be deployed in a phase approached during the month of May 2021 and we will ensure that your current hardware can support the upgraded speeds.

We will also no longer offer any FrogFoot capped services and all capped services will be upgraded to the uncapped packages.

 

This process will ensure that you as our valued client receive value for money and will also sort out some speed problems on the FrogFoot Network.

We also are discontinuing our free fibre line installations, free fibre cable extensions, free routers and all combo deals due to penalty fees raised by FrogFoot for early cancellation and this fee will be divided into monthly cost to all new clients.

Package prices will stay the same and normal cancellation procedures of 30 days prior to the following month will prevail making it much cheaper for new installations. However, this will not include fibre cable for more than 30 meter from the point of connection which will be charged at R57 per meter on new connections.
